22 x Johan Baggio Neon Painting
To celebrate the opening of PFW and the launch of the SS23 collection of 22 (VENTIDUE), the artist Johan Baggio will be in live performance at Ithaki Showroom working on an installation with a self-sustaining iron structure combining painting, military garments, neon and classical music. The energy of the singular, the notion of hybridity, the importance of social struggle and fascination for the ritual, have shaped its relation to identity. He appropriates the aesthetics and urban music, taking postcolonial and anarchist theories, which at the same time explain the chaos and carry the hope.
