Based in Paris, Elia Pradel is the founder of ANICET, a creative studio situated at the intersection of jewelry, sculpture, and design. ANICET was founded with the aim of developing a practice rooted in transformation, artisanal craftsmanship, and the memory of materials. Drawing inspiration from her Creole heritage and contemporary urban cultures, her work is based on practices of reuse and assembly. Using existing jewelry, vintage elements, and salvaged metal fragments, she develops a contemporary vision of jewelry that goes beyond ornamentation to explore the notions of memory, transmission, and collective experience. Her work has been featured in publications such as Vogue, ELLE, M Le Monde, and Numéro, and has received several awards, including the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris in the accessories and jewelry category, as well as recognition from the Ministry of Culture.
