David Catalán is a Spanish fashion designer who moved to Porto, Portugal, to study fashion. He first gained recognition through the BLOOM platform at Portugal Fashion, and this exposure, along with the proximity to the local fashion industry and its creative ecosystem, encouraged him to establish his brand in Portugal. He later made his debut on the main runway in March2018. With the support of Portugal Fashion, the label secured a place on the official calendar of Milan Fashion Week—an achievement that marked a turning point in its global commercial expansion.
David Catalán presents us clothes inspired in a modern culture, with sporty silhouettes and superposition of layers, all of this bound together with an innovative character in a search for new techniques and creation of new materials.
